Job Description – Registered Manager Vacancy 

Dartford and Tunbridge Wells, Kent

Hey Baby 4D is a private 4D ultrasound clinic specialising in non-diagnostic pregnancy scans. We are part of the Hey Baby 4D franchise network which operates nationwide. Our spacious, modern clinics are based in Dartford and Tunbridge Wells in Kent. The clinics are easily accessible via public transport, and there is parking available just outside each location.

Due to growth, we are seeking a Registered Manager on a part time, permanent basis to manage and oversee the running of the service, as well as managing the team.

As the registered manager, you will report to the director and take full responsibility for meeting regulatory requirements, maintaining a safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led service.

Registered Manager Responsibilities

  • Registered manager duties for a small team of permanent and temporary staff, including recruitment, HR, performance management, shift allocation, leave scheduling and training delivery
  • Taking the lead role in safeguarding, health and safety, feedback, infection control and other areas
  • Performing regular risk assessments and checks to promote a safe environment for all
  • Ensuring all regulatory requirements are met on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis
  • Managing and maintaining the clinic’s audit systems
  • Performing spot-checks on the team to ensure the delivery of a safe and professional service
  • Managing the day to day running of the service, including:
    • preparing for shifts
    • managing and ordering stock
    • managing customer records
    • working on reception during open hours
    • social media management
    • customer communications
  • Liaising with head office
  • Liaising with suppliers

Qualifications & Experience

The successful registered manager will possess management experience, preferably in a health or social care environment. You must have a minimum of a level 3 qualification in safeguarding and be willing to undertake a significant amount of learning in the role. Prior experience as a registered manager is ideal but not essential as full training will be provided.

Ideally, we would like somebody who has an understanding of the CQC regulations and who has worked in a similar environment.

The successful registered manager will have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to multitask. You must be customer focused and have strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.

Please note: as the registered manager, you will be required to undergo an interview process with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and will be subjected to enhanced DBS checks and possibly financial and / or medical checks as required by the CQC.
