We always aim to provide you with a friendly experience, whilst only ever performing your scan by a qualified, experienced, and registered obstetric sonographer.<\/p>\n<p>This scan is initially performed transabdominally. Please arrive with a full bladder.<\/p>\n<p><span>Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete your paperwork<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Please bring your pregnancy notes with you. We may not need them, but it is helpful if our qualified sonographers need to refer to them at any stage during your early reassurance scan.<\/p>\n<p>It is sometimes necessary during the earlier stages of pregnancy to offer an internal scan. This is because it can be difficult to see the fetus via the abdomen at this stage. Many factors influence this (including hydration). Please ensure you arrive for your scan with a full bladder.
