The primary objective of this scan is to check the wellbeing of your baby.
Determine the wellbeing of your baby from 16-22 weeks and confirm their gender; with a free 4D preview included! We always aim to provide you with a fun and friendly experience, whilst only ever performing your scan by a qualified, experienced, and registered obstetric sonographer.
Scan length: 10 minutes
Appointment duration: 15 minutes

Rescans:
If we are unable to confirm the sex of your baby, we may offer you one free rescan at a later date*.
Please note:
- We are only able to provide scans to persons over the age of 18.
- If you would like a video recording of your scan, please let the reception team know before your scan starts.
- The video recording has no audio capability.
- If you are planning a gender reveal party, please allow a couple of days after your scan in case a rescan is required.
- In the event you test positive for Covid-19, please do not attend your scan and call us on 020 3475 9000 to re-arrange your appointment

*At the manager’s discretion, T&Cs apply. Rescans cannot be booked for weekends. Please note that during lockdown, rescans will only be provided if there is a medical need to do so. Confirming baby’s sex is not considered essential and therefore rescans for this purpose will be unavailable for the duration of any lockdown.
You must still attend your 20 week scan with the NHS.
Preparing for your Gender Scan
You can prepare for your gender scan by ensuring that you are properly hydrated in the 24 hours prior to your appointment. Please arrive to your appointment with a full bladder.
This is a 20 minute appointment. Please ensure that you arrive 5 minutes early for your scan in order to complete the necessary paperwork. Failure to do so may result in your appointment time being reduced.
Please bring your pregnancy notes with you. We may not need them, but it is helpful if our qualified sonographers need to refer to them at any stage during your gender scan.

Finding Hey Baby 4D Enfield
We are located on 840, Green Lanes in Winchmore Hill, Enfield. The nearest landmark is the Waitrose in Winchmore Hill. Please use postcode: N21 2RT for your sat-nav which will bring you to our clinic. There is free parking for up to 2 hours right outside the clinic and you don’t need to display a ticket. You can also park on Firs Lane or Elm Park Road which are a 2 min walk away and again free to park without the need to display a ticket. There is also additional off-street parking on Shrubbery Gardens on the opposite side of the clinic where you can park anytime except between 10:30 and 11:30am Mon to Fri.
If you are arriving by train (via the Great Northern Rail), head towards Green Lanes on exiting the Winchmore Hill Station. If you are arriving by tube, Southgate is the nearest tube station on the Piccadilly line. Take bus 125 from Southgate Underground to get off at Shrubbery Gardens which is opposite the clinic. For those arriving by Overground from Enfield Town, take bus 329 to get off at Shrubbery Gardens which is opposite the clinic.
