The primary objective of this scan is to check the wellbeing of your baby.
Determine the wellbeing of your baby from 16 weeks and confirm their sex; with a free 4D preview included! We always aim to provide you with a fun and friendly experience, whilst only ever performing your scan by a qualified, experienced, and registered obstetric sonographer.
Scan length: 10 minutes
Appointment duration: 20 minutes

Rescans:
If we are unable to confirm the sex of your baby, we may offer you one free rescan at a later date*.
Please note:
- We are only able to provide scans to persons over the age of 18.
- The video recording has no audio capability.
- If you are planning a gender reveal party, please allow a couple of days after your scan in case a rescan is required.
*At the manager’s discretion, T&Cs apply. Please note that during lockdown, rescans will only be provided if there is a medical need to do so. Confirming baby’s sex is not considered essential and therefore rescans for this purpose will be unavailable for the duration of any lockdown.
Preparing for your Wellbeing & Gender Scan
You must attend your routine scans with the NHS.
You can prepare for your gender scan by ensuring that you are properly hydrated in the 24 hours prior to your appointment. Please arrive to your appointment with a full bladder.
This is a 20 minute appointment. Please ensure that you arrive 10 minutes early for your scan in order to complete the necessary paperwork. Failure to do so may result in your appointment time being reduced.
Please bring your pregnancy notes with you. We may not need them, but it is helpful if our qualified Sonographers need to refer to them at any stage during your gender scan.

Hey Baby 4D Wolverhampton is located on the main high street in Sedgley, making us easy to find and convenient to access whether you are travelling by car or public transport.
By Car & Parking
There is a free public car park directly opposite our clinic, allowing for stress-free parking right outside your appointment. Additional on-street parking is also available along the high street.
We are ideally positioned for easy access from surrounding towns and major routes, including Dudley, Wolverhampton and the wider Black Country.

- Wolverhampton town centre: approx. 10–15 minutes
- Brierley Hill / Merry Hill Shopping Centre: approx. 10–15 minutes
- Dudley town centre: approx. 5–10 minutes

There is a bus stop directly outside the clinic, with regular local services connecting Sedgley to:
- Wolverhampton
- Dudley
- Brierley Hill
- Wednesbury and surrounding areas
This makes our clinic easily accessible for those travelling without a car.

We are located on Sedgley High Street, close to local shops, cafés and amenities, and within easy reach of Brierley Hill and the Merry Hill Shopping Centre.
