Our early reassurance scan is designed to check the wellbeing of your baby and provide you with peace of mind from as early as 6 weeks gestation, through to 16 weeks. We always aim to provide you with a fun and friendly experience, whilst only ever performing your scan by a qualified, experienced, and registered obstetric sonographer.
Scan length: 10 minutes
Appointment duration: 20 minutes

- Locate your pregnancy
- See your baby’s heartbeat
- Date your pregnancy – to confirm how far along you are
- Confirm single or multiple pregnancy
- A wellbeing check will be performed to review your baby’s progress
- Receive a scan report & wellbeing form which includes your placenta position
- 2 x image prints to take home
- Digital download of all images taken during the scan
- 15% off your next scan
- No extra charge for twins or multiple pregnancies
Upgrades:
- Digital download of scan video (£10)
- Additional prints (£4 each or 3 for £10)
Please note:
- We are only able to provide scans to persons over the age of 18.
- The video recording has no audio capability.
You must still attend your 20 week scan with the NHS.
Preparing for your early Reassurance scan
You must attend your routine scans with the NHS.
You can prepare for your early reassurance scan by ensuring that you are properly hydrated in the 24 hours before your appointment. Please arrive with a full bladder.
It is sometimes necessary during the earlier stages of pregnancy to offer an internal scan. This is because it can be difficult to see the fetus via the abdomen at this stage. Many factors influence this (including hydration). Please ensure you arrive for your scan with a full bladder. As with all of our scans, you have the right to stop the procedure at any time.

Hey Baby 4D Wolverhampton is located on the main high street in Sedgley, making us easy to find and convenient to access whether you are travelling by car or public transport.
By Car & Parking
There is a free public car park directly opposite our clinic, allowing for stress-free parking right outside your appointment. Additional on-street parking is also available along the high street.
We are ideally positioned for easy access from surrounding towns and major routes, including Dudley, Wolverhampton and the wider Black Country.

- Wolverhampton town centre: approx. 10–15 minutes
- Brierley Hill / Merry Hill Shopping Centre: approx. 10–15 minutes
- Dudley town centre: approx. 5–10 minutes

By Bus & Public Transport
There is a bus stop directly outside the clinic, with regular local services connecting Sedgley to:
- Wolverhampton
- Dudley
- Brierley Hill
- Wednesbury and surrounding areas
This makes our clinic easily accessible for those travelling without a car.
