Our early reassurance scan is designed to check the wellbeing of your baby and provide you with peace of mind from as early as 6 weeks gestation, through to 12 weeks. We always aim to provide you with a fun and friendly experience, whilst only ever performing your scan by a qualified, experienced, and registered obstetric sonographer.

Locate your pregnancy
See your baby’s heartbeat
Date your pregnancy – to confirm how far along you are
Confirm single or multiple pregnancy
A wellbeing check will be performed to review your baby’s progress
Receive a scan report and wellbeing form which includes your placenta position
2 x image prints of your choice to take home

Multiple pregnancies: we do not charge extra for multiple pregnancies.

Preparing for your early reassurance scan

You can prepare for your early reassurance scan by ensuring that you are properly hydrated in the 24 hours before your appointment. Please arrive with a full bladder.

Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete your paperwork.

Please bring your pregnancy notes with you. We may not need them, but it is helpful if our qualified sonographers need to refer to them at any stage during your early reassurance scan.

It is sometimes necessary during the earlier stages of pregnancy to offer an internal scan. This is because it can be difficult to see the fetus via the abdomen at this stage. Many factors influence this (including hydration). As with all of our scans, you have the right to refuse or stop the procedure at any time.

Finding Hey Baby 4D Clapham

Located on Clapham Park Road, just a few minutes from both Clapham High Street and Brixton Hill, finding Hey Baby 4D Clapham is convenient. Our clinic is a short fifteen - minute walk from Clapham Common Tube station and Brixton Tube Station on the Northern and Victoria underground lines. There are also various bus stops nearby, including stops for the 35, 37, 137 and 417 buses. This provides easy access from all over South London such as the Wandsworth, Merton, Lambeth and Southwark boroughs.

We offer free on-street parking outside the clinic after 4pm Monday - Friday, with pay and display options before 4pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, parking is free, and there is also free parking available on side roads less than a five-minute walk away after 12pm Monday to Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday.
