Available from 12 through to 38 weeks of your pregnancy. Choose either a reassurance scan or Growth & Presentation scan. Both provides you with the chance to bond with your baby whilst we check their wellbeing and growth progress. We always aim to provide you with a fun and friendly experience, whilst only ever performing your scan by a qualified, experienced, and registered obstetric sonographer.

Reassurance Scan

Scan length: approx. 10 minutes

Appointment duration: 20 minutes

See & hear your baby’s heartbeat

Growth & Presentation Scan

Available from 12 through to 38 weeks of your pregnancy. This scan is similar to the Reassurance Scan, however we will focus more on checking fetal weight, amniotic fluid, and growth measurements, and confirm fetal presentation and placental site.

Scan length: approx. 10 minutes

Appointment duration: 20 minutes

Multiple pregnancies: we do not charge extra for multiple pregnancies.

* Free 4D preview only available until 32 weeks’ gestation. As room decreases in the womb, it gets more difficult to obtain an image of baby’s face.

The video recording has no audio capability

You must still attend your 20 week scan with the NHS.

Preparing for your scan

You can prepare for your reassurance or growth and presentation scan by ensuring that you are properly hydrated in the 24 hours before your appointment. Please arrive with a full bladder.

Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete your paperwork.

Please bring your pregnancy notes with you. We may not need them, but it is helpful if our qualified sonographers need to refer to them at any stage during your reassurance scan.

Please ensure you arrive for your scan with a full bladder. As with all of our scans, you have the right to refuse or stop the procedure at any time.

Finding Hey Baby 4D Clapham

Located on Clapham Park Road, just a few minutes from both Clapham High Street and Brixton Hill, finding Hey Baby 4D Clapham is convenient. Our clinic is a short fifteen - minute walk from Clapham Common Tube station and Brixton Tube Station on the Northern and Victoria underground lines. There are also various bus stops nearby, including stops for the 35, 37, 137 and 417 buses. This provides easy access from all over South London such as the Wandsworth, Merton, Lambeth and Southwark boroughs.

We offer free on-street parking outside the clinic after 4pm Monday - Friday, with pay and display options before 4pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, parking is free, and there is also free parking available on side roads less than a five-minute walk away after 12pm Monday to Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday.
