Hey Baby 4D Dartford COVID-19 Procedures
Here we outline Hey Baby 4D’s procedures relating to the Coronavirus outbreak and what to do if you think you may have been exposed.
The main symptoms of COVID-19 infection include:
- A new or continuous cough
- A high temperature
- The loss of, or change to, your sense of smell and/or taste
Pregnant women, particularly those with underlying health conditions, over the age of 35 and in the BAME group, are at higher risk from COVID-19 than non-pregnant women. If you develop symptoms of COVID-19 before your appointment or test positive, you must inform the clinic and we will rearrange your appointment for you.
As always, the health and wellbeing of your baby is always our highest priority.
Guest policy
You can bring up to 3 guests to your appointment.
Masks and face coverings
Infection control and PPE
As a healthcare provider, we already have stringent infection control measures in place. Throughout the Coronavirus pandemic, we have increased these measures to keep you and our team safe from infection.
Our team will continue to wear PPE as per national guidance. Our clinic is cleaned and disinfected regularly to prevent the spread of infection. You will be asked to wash or sanitise your hands on arrival to help us with this.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we made many adaptations to our services to make them safe and accessible for those who needed to access them. Most of these have now been removed, however we may need to re-implement them if national guidance or Government guidance requires us to.
The Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists advises that pregnant women who are over 35 years of age, in the BAME group or have underlying health conditions may be at higher risk if they contract COVID-19.
Thank you very much for your continued support!
