The primary objective of this Wellbeing & VIP 4D Baby Scan is to check the wellbeing of your baby
Available from 22 through to 32 weeks of your pregnancy. You will receive the full 4D VIP experience and memories to treasure for a lifetime! We always aim to provide you with a fun and friendly experience, whilst only ever performing your scan by a qualified, experienced, and registered obstetric sonographer.

What’s included with your Wellbeing & VIP 4D Baby Scan:
- 25 exclusive minutes with our qualified sonographer where you can ask any questions you like!

Rescans
If we are unable to obtain clear 4D images, we may offer you one free rescan at a later date**. Rescans will not be offered after 32 weeks of pregnancy and therefore we recommend that you plan your 4D scan before 30 weeks wherever possible so that we can accommodate a rescan if required.
Please note:
- We are only able to provide scans to persons over the age of 18
- The video recording has no audio capability
- Bring up to six guests to your scan, including children.
**At the manager’s discretion, T&Cs apply.
You must still attend your 20 week scan with the NHS.
Preparing for your scan
You can prepare for your 4D baby scan by ensuring that you are properly hydrated in the 24 hours leading up to your appointment. Please arrive for your scan with a full bladder, as this helps our Sonographers to obtain the best images.
Please bring your pregnancy notes with you. We may not need them, but it is helpful if our qualified Sonographers need to refer to them at any stage during your scan.

Hey Baby 4D Sunderland is located at Unit 2, Baird Close, Washington NE37 3HL, within a small business park just off the A1231 Sunderland Highway. Our clinic is on the ground floor with step-free access, making it easy to visit with prams and wheelchairs.

Our clinic is easily accessible from the A1(M), A19 and A1231, making it convenient for families travelling from across the North East.
Free parking is available close to the clinic, allowing easy access for your appointment.
We regularly welcome families from Washington, Sunderland, Gateshead, Newcastle, Chester-le-Street and Durham.
By Train / Metro 🚆
The closest major stations are Heworth Interchange and Pellaw Metro Station, both approximately 10–12 minutes by taxi from the clinic and well connected across Tyne & Wear.
By Bus 🚌
There are frequent bus services along the A1231 Washington Highway, with stops located a short walk from Baird Close, connecting the clinic to Sunderland, Gateshead, Newcastle and surrounding Washington areas.
