The primary objective of this scan is to confirm the sex of your baby.

Available from 16 weeks of pregnancy. This gender scan is designed for parents who want to quickly confirm the sex of their baby without the fuss. We always aim to provide you with a fun and friendly experience, whilst only ever performing your scan by a qualified, experienced, and registered obstetric sonographer.

Not suitable for multiple pregnancies

As this is an express appointment, please ensure that you arrive 5 minutes early for your scan in order to complete the necessary paperwork. Failure to do so may result in us having to reschedule your scan.

This scan cannot be performed for multiple pregnancies due to the duration of the appointment. If you would like to discuss alternative options, please call us on 01892 489 166 and our friendly team will be happy to help you.

Rescans:

If we are unable to confirm the sex of your baby, we may offer you one free rescan at a later date*. If you are planning a gender reveal party, please ensure you allow a few days after your scan in case a rescan is required.

Please note:

We are only able to provide scans to persons over the age of 18
The video recording has no audio capability
We have male sonographers working in our clinic. A chaperone service is available free of charge – simply let us know if you’d like one when you arrive for your appointment

Preparing for your scan

This scan is designed to identify the gender of your baby from just 16 weeks of pregnancy. You must still attend your 20 week scan with the NHS.

You can prepare for your gender scan by ensuring that you are properly hydrated in the 24 hours leading up to your scan. Please arrive to your gender scan with a full bladder.

As this is an express appointment, please ensure that you arrive 10 minutes early for your scan in order to complete any remaining paperwork. Failure to do so may result in us having to reschedule your scan.

Please bring your pregnancy notes with you. We may not need them, but it is helpful if our qualified Sonographers need to refer to them at any stage during your scan.

Finding Hey Baby 4D Tunbridge Wells

Being based in Southborough, our clinic is easily accessible for expectant parents from Maidstone, Tonbridge & Sevenoaks.

The clinic is 3.1 miles from Pembury Hospital. Both the railway and bus stations are in close proximity to the clinic.

The bus stop "KNTAJTAD" is directly outside of our front door. From here it goes to Hadlow, Kings Hill, West Malling, Sevenoaks and Maidstone. We're conveniently located on the high street in Southborough, just opposite the new community hub development.

Our Clinic is a 7 minute drive from Tonbridge Station, a 7 minute drive from Tunbridge Wells station and a 4 minute drive from High Brooms station.
