Available from 30 through to 40 weeks of your pregnancy. This Final Countdown scan provides you with the chance to bond with your baby whilst we check their wellbeing, growth progress and baby’s presentation. We always aim to provide you with a fun and friendly experience, whilst only ever performing your scan by a qualified, experienced, and registered obstetric sonographer.

10 exclusive minutes with our qualified sonographer where you can ask any questions you like!
Locate your pregnancy
See and listen to your baby’s heartbeat
Check your baby’s wellbeing
Receive a scan report & wellbeing form
Check your baby’s presentation/position for delivery
Check the amount of fluid around your baby where possible
Check your placenta location
Estimate baby’s measurements & weight
2 x black & white prints
Digital download of all images

Please note:

Due to the later gestation and the position of baby, gender confirmation is not included in this scan, additionally depending on your babys position it may be not always posible to obtain a head measurement.
Unfortunatly rescans will not be possible for this scan package.
We are only able to provide scans to persons over the age of 18.
The video recording has no audio capability.
We use both male and female sonographers in our clinic. If you have a preference, please contact us to arrange your appointment.

Preparing for your scan

You can prepare for your Final Countdown Scan by ensuring that you are properly hydrated in the 24 hours leading up to your scan. Please also ensure you arrive at the clinic with a full bladder.

Please bring your pregnancy notes with you. We may not need them, but it is helpful if our qualified Sonographers need to refer to them at any stage during your pregnancy scan.

Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete your paperwork.

Finding Hey Baby 4D Barnsley

Churchfield Court is located 0.4 miles north of Barnsley Town Centre, offering direct routes to the M1 which provides access to Leeds and Sheffield. We're just 0.7 miles away from Barnsley Hospital and only a short walk from Barnsley railway station! If you're an expectant parent based in Barnsley, Sheffield, Rotherham, Wakefield or Doncaster we're the private ultrasound clinic for you.

Street parking is available directly outside the clinic at a cost of £0.90 for one hour Monday to Saturday and free on Sundays. Also Churchfields car park is adjacent to the clinic charged at £2.20 for 2 hours Monday - Friday and free at weekends. Both are free on Bank Holidays.
