Available from 24 through to 40 weeks of your pregnancy. This bonding & reassurance scan provides you with the chance to bond with your baby whilst we check their wellbeing and growth progress. We always aim to provide you with a fun and friendly experience, whilst only ever performing your scan by a qualified, experienced, and registered obstetric sonographer.
Scan length: approx 20 minutes
Appointment duration: 30 minutes
What’s included with your Fetal Wellbeing & Growth Scan:

- See & hear your baby’s heartbeat
- Check your baby’s presentation/position
- Check your baby’s wellbeing
- Growth measurement and Weight estimate
- Umbilical cord Doppler measurement
- Assess the placenta’s position.
- Check the amount of fluid around your baby
- Check your placenta location
- Receive a scan report
- Optional gender reveal using our EXCLUSIVE gender reveal lighting!
- 2 x black & white prints if baby in good position.
- FREE 4D preview*
*Where possible, we will provide a complimentary 4D preview during your scan. This is a bonus feature and is dependent on your stage of pregnancy, your baby’s position, movement and image clarity at the time of your appointment. As this is not the primary purpose of the scan, a 4D image or video is not guaranteed.

- We are only able to provide scans to persons over the age of 18.
You must still attend your 20 week scan with the NHS.
Preparing for your Fetal Wellbeing & VIP Growth Scan
You can prepare for your Fetal Wellbeing & VIP Growth scan by ensuring that you are properly hydrated in the 24 hours leading up to your scan. Please also ensure you arrive at the clinic with a full bladder.
Please bring your pregnancy notes with you. We may not need them, but it is helpful if our qualified sonographers need to refer to them at any stage during your pregnancy scan.

Arrival Instructions for Visitors by Car
Our clinic is in Progress Business Centre. When arriving at the Progress Business Centre by car, you will see an entry barrier. Please stop just before the barrier – it will lift automatically to allow entry. Once inside, drive straight down to Unit 15. Free parking is available directly in front of the clinic.
