The primary objective of this scan is to confirm the sex of your baby.
Available from 18 weeks of pregnancy. This gender scan is designed for parents who want to quickly confirm the sex of their baby without the fuss. We always aim to provide you with a fun and friendly experience, whilst only ever performing your scan by a qualified, experienced, and registered obstetric sonographer.
Scan length: approx. 5 minutes
Appointment duration: 10 minutes

As this is an express appointment, please ensure that you arrive 5 minutes early for your scan in order to complete the necessary paperwork. Failure to do so may result in us having to reschedule your scan.
This scan cannot be performed for multiple pregnancies due to the duration of the appointment. If you would like to discuss alternative options, please call us on 0121 448 5955 and our friendly team will be happy to help you.

Rescans:
If we are unable to confirm the sex of your baby, we may offer you one free rescan at a later date*. If you are planning a gender reveal party, please ensure you allow a few days after your appointment in case a rescan is required.
Please note:
- We are only able to provide scans to persons over the age of 18
- The video recording has no audio capability
*At the manager’s discretion, T&Cs apply.
You must still attend your 20 week scan with the NHS.
Preparing for your scan
You can prepare for your express gender scan by ensuring that you are properly hydrated in the 24 hours leading up to your appointment. You don’t need to arrive with a full bladder, but we do ask that it’s not completely empty.
Please bring your pregnancy notes with you. We may not need them, but it is helpful if our qualified sonographers need to refer to them at any stage during your scan.
