Available from 24 through to 34 weeks of your pregnancy. You will receive the full 4D VIP experience and memories to treasure for a lifetime! We always aim to provide you with a fun and friendly experience, whilst only ever performing your scan by a qualified, experienced, and registered obstetric sonographer.

What’s included with your VIP 4D Wellbeing Scan:

  • Up to 20 exclusive minutes with our qualified sonographer where you can ask any questions you like!
  • Locate your pregnancy
  • See & hear your baby’s heartbeat
  • Check your baby’s presentation
  • A wellbeing check will be performed to review your baby’s progress
  • Receive a wellbeing form
  • 3 x 3D colour prints (additional prints available at £5 each)
  • Digital download of all images
  • Digital download of entire scan video

Multiple pregnancies: There is no additional charge for this scan. To book or discuss the best package for you, please call us on 01702 690 285.

Upgrades:

  • Additional prints (£5 each)
  • Heartbeat bear (£30)

Rescans:

If we are unable to obtain clear 4D images, we may offer you one free rescan at a later date*. Rescans will not be offered after 32 weeks of pregnancy and therefore we recommend that you plan your 4D scan before 30 weeks wherever possible so that we can accommodate a rescan if required.

Please note:

  • We are only able to provide scans to persons over the age of 18
  • The video recording has no audio capability

*At the manager’s discretion, T&Cs apply.

Preparing for your scan

                                

You can prepare for your Wellbeing & VIP 4D Baby Scan by ensuring that you are properly hydrated in the 24 hours leading up to your appointment. You don’t need to arrive with a full bladder, but we do ask that it’s not completely empty.

Please bring your pregnancy notes with you. We may not need them, but it is helpful if our qualified Sonographers need to refer to them at any stage during your scan.

Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete your paperwork

We’ve used Hey Baby for an early reassurance scan, gender scan and today a 4D scan. I couldn’t fault any of these appointments, the front desk are always warm and welcoming and the technicians in the room are reassuring, friendly and the whole experience is genuinely very enjoyable. Our 4D scan was incredible and I was so impressed with the images captured and didn’t realise how many we got digitally afterwards as well as the videos. They were having tech issues today but we only knew because they’d shared this with us which meant there was a slight delay to being seen but this was no problem to us, however they were very generous due to the appointment being a bit late and provided us an additional print free of charge which we were not expecting and really appreciated the gesture despite the issue being out of their control (and also resolved very quickly). We also purchased a heartbeat bear today and again were very impressed with the quality and sound. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to book private scans, well worth every penny.

This is the second pregnancy we have used Hey Baby for 4D scan and I can’t fault them. Great service and amazing images. This time we even added the gender reveal as well. Would and have always recommended for private scans.

We went for a wellbeing and gender scan. The staff are so friendly and nice. They talk you through the whole process when they scan you. Everything was so clean and it's a very welcoming environment. Best experience having the private reassurance scan. The staff were lovely and really helpful. The clinic itself was very clean and professional. You definitely get what you pay for! Recommend to any mums wanting an early scan!

I cannot recommend Hey Baby 4D Southend enough! We’ve had 2 scans here so far and the whole team each time have been extremely welcoming and kind. Although the basic appointments are only 15 minutes long, you’re given all the attention and information you need to make you feel reassured. Of course these scans won’t replace your NHS appointments, but I’d prompt anyone who wants an interim check up to visit here. Thank you!

We loved our early reassurance scan. The sonographer was so lovely and showed us the heartbeat and baby quickly! We were also able to use our deposit that we previously paid back in April before we had an early loss which was great!We will be coming back for a gender scan in the coming weeks 🩷💙

Can't recommend Hey Baby Southend enough!I booked my early pregnancy scan the moment I could due to anxiety following previous losses.The team were amazing and did everything they could to calm and reassure me.Since then I have attended to have a private gender blood test and a reassurance scan in between 6-12 weeks.I'm now pleased to be over half way and can't wait to go back for a 4D binding scan.The team have been nothing but fantastic and kind throughout and are perfect for anyone who has concerns or are having their first baby and don't know what to expect.

Been to Hey Baby 4D Southend 3 times now. Our first time was for an early reassurance scan which was great and did exactly as described by reassuring us that everything was going well.Our second time was for a 4D scan. Unfortunately baby was in an awkward position so the staff advised different exercises to hopefully get baby in a better position and even allowed me to go for a walk and come back to try again. We got some better photos but still not 100% clear due to baby's position and my anterior placenta but they kindly invited us back for a free rescan to try again. We eventually got some better photos and a lovely heartbeat bear and we're so thankful to ALL the staff at Hey Baby for being so patient and not rushing us. We couldn't have asked for more! Thank you!

I have now had two scans at Hey Baby 4D Southend (6 weeks early pregnancy check up and 16 week gender scan). They have been amazing on both occasions.They made me feel very comfortable and have had a giggle both times.The facilities are clean and welcoming.I would definitely recommend them, and will definitely be going back for a 4D scan with them .
