Our early reassurance scan is designed to check the wellbeing of your baby and provide you with peace of mind from as early as 6 weeks gestation, through to 14 weeks. We always aim to provide you with a fun and friendly experience, whilst only ever performing your scan by a qualified, experienced sonographer.
Scan length: Up to 10 minutes
Appointment duration: 15 minutes

Please note:
- We are only able to provide scans to persons aged 18 year or over.
- Guest policy is mum to be + up to 3 guests.

Preparing for your early reassurance scan
You can prepare for your early reassurance scan by ensuring that you are properly hydrated in the 24 hours before your appointment. Please arrive with a full bladder.
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete your paperwork
Please bring your pregnancy notes with you. We may not need them, but it is helpful if our qualified Sonographers need to refer to them at any stage during your early reassurance scan.
It is sometimes necessary during the earlier stages of pregnancy to offer an internal scan. This is because it can be difficult to see the fetus via the abdomen at this stage. Many factors influence this (including hydration). Please ensure you arrive for your scan with a full bladder. As with all of our scans, you have the right to stop the procedure at any time.

Finding Hey Baby 4D Derby
Hey Baby 4D Derby is located 10 minutes from the city centre, making our clinic easily accessible for our clients who come from all over Derbyshire, Heanor, Belper, Ripley, Ilkeston, Long Eaton and of course the town of Derby.
In the car: From Pentagon Island, take the exit for 'Nottingham Road', signposted for Chaddesden. Turn left just after the fire station onto Wiltshire Road. At the mini roundabout, take the first right onto Roe Farm Lane. You'll see Revive Healthy Living Centre on your left. You can either park in the car park at the front or round the back. Parking is free of charge. The nearest bus stop is the "Blue Boy" which is served from Derby Bus station by the number 22 bus. The clinic about a 2 minute walk from the bus stop.
