The primary objective of this scan is to check the wellbeing of your baby
Available from 24 through to 30 weeks of your pregnancy. You will receive the full 4D VIP experience and memories to treasure for a lifetime! We always aim to provide you with a fun and friendly experience, whilst only ever performing your scan by a qualified, experienced, and registered obstetric sonographer.
4D Scan length: up to 15 minutes
Appointment duration: 15 minutes

- Optimal gestation for anterior placenta is 24-28 weeks
- See & hear your baby’s heartbeat

- Estimate foetal weight
- A wellbeing check will be performed to review your baby’s progress

- 2 x 3D colour prints (additional prints available at £3 each)
- Digital download of all images
- Digital download of entire scan video
- Optional gender reveal with our EXCLUSIVE gender reveal lighting!
A surcharge of £15 is applicable on any scan with multiple pregnancies (except early reassurance)
Upgrades:

Rescans:
If we are unable to obtain clear 4D images, we may offer you one free rescan at a later date.
Rescans will not be offered after 30 weeks of pregnancy and therefore we recommend that you plan your 4D scan before 30 weeks wherever possible so that we can accommodate a rescan if required.
The ideal time to attend a 4D scan for twins is between 24-26 weeks. The ideal time for a single pregnancy is 26 weeks.
Please note:
- We are only able to provide scans to persons over the age of 18.
- The video recording has no audio capability.

Please note that we have male sonographers working in our clinic. A chaperone service is available free of charge – simply let us know if you’d like one when you arrive for your appointment.
You must still attend your 20 week scan with the NHS.
Preparing for your scan
You can prepare for your 4D baby scan by ensuring that you are properly hydrated in the 24 hours leading up to your appointment. You don’t need to arrive with a full bladder, but we do ask that it’s not completely empty.
Please bring your pregnancy notes with you. We may not need them, but it is helpful if our qualified Sonographers need to refer to them at any stage during your scan.

Finding Hey Baby 4D Derby
Hey Baby 4D Derby is located 10 minutes from the city centre, making our clinic easily accessible for our clients who come from all over Derbyshire, Heanor, Belper, Ripley, Ilkeston, Long Eaton and of course the town of Derby.
In the car: From Pentagon Island, take the exit for 'Nottingham Road', signposted for Chaddesden. Turn left just after the fire station onto Wiltshire Road. At the mini roundabout, take the first right onto Roe Farm Lane. You'll see Revive Healthy Living Centre on your left. You can either park in the car park at the front or round the back. Parking is free of charge. The nearest bus stop is the "Blue Boy" which is served from Derby Bus station by the number 22 bus. The clinic about a 2 minute walk from the bus stop.

After a number of failed attempts to see our child (Awkward, camera shy baby) Michelle rebooked us in and our final attempt we saw the little face we had been waiting to see. Great, informative scans that we would highly recommend. Michelle is so nice and made us feel comfortable.
