The primary objective of this scan is to check the wellbeing of your baby.
Determine the wellbeing of your baby from 15-26 weeks and confirm their gender; with a free 4D preview included! We always aim to provide you with a fun and friendly experience, whilst only ever performing your scan by a qualified, experienced, and registered obstetric sonographer.
Scan length: up to 10 minutes
Appointment duration: 15 minutes

A surcharge of £15 is applicable on any scan with multiple pregnancies (except early reassurance)

Rescans
If we are unable to confirm the sex of your baby, we may offer you one free rescan at a later date.
Please note:
- We are only able to provide scans to persons aged 18 year or over.
- The video recording has no audio capability.
- Guest policy is mum to be + up to 3 guests.

You must still attend your 20 week scan with the NHS.
Preparing for your Gender Scan
You can prepare for your gender scan by ensuring that you are properly hydrated in the 24 hours prior to your appointment. You don’t need to arrive with a full bladder, but we do ask that it’s not completely empty.
This is a 15 minute appointment. Please ensure that you arrive 10 minutes early for your scan in order to complete the necessary paperwork. Failure to do so may result in your appointment time being reduced.
Please bring your pregnancy notes with you. We may not need them, but it is helpful if our qualified Sonographers need to refer to them at any stage during your gender scan.

Finding Hey Baby 4D Derby
Hey Baby 4D Derby is located 10 minutes from the city centre, making our clinic easily accessible for our clients who come from all over Derbyshire, Heanor, Belper, Ripley, Ilkeston, Long Eaton and of course the town of Derby.
In the car: From Pentagon Island, take the exit for 'Nottingham Road', signposted for Chaddesden. Turn left just after the fire station onto Wiltshire Road. At the mini roundabout, take the first right onto Roe Farm Lane. You'll see Revive Healthy Living Centre on your left. You can either park in the car park at the front or round the back. Parking is free of charge. The nearest bus stop is the "Blue Boy" which is served from Derby Bus station by the number 22 bus. The clinic about a 2 minute walk from the bus stop.
