The primary objective of this scan is to check the wellbeing of your baby.

Our Wellbeing Scan is available from 16 weeks onwards and is ideal if you would simply like peace of mind that your baby is doing well as your pregnancy progresses.

The aim of this scan is to provide a general wellbeing check and reassurance.

15 exclusive minutes with our qualified sonographer where you can ask any questions you like!
Locate your pregnancy
See and/or listen to your baby’s heartbeat (depending on gestational age)
A wellbeing check will be performed to review your baby’s progress
Check Placenta position
Assess amniotic fluid levels
Receive a scan report & wellbeing form which includes your placenta position
2 x black & white prints to take home

Please note:

We are only able to provide scans to persons over the age of 18.
This package does not include gender determination or growth measurements.
It is important to note that this is not the same as your NHS anomaly scan (18–24 weeks). The NHS scan includes a more detailed check of your baby’s anatomy.
Foetal wellbeing checks include the stomach, bladder, legs, arms, liquor volume, and placenta location.
The video recording has no audio capability.
Most of our sonographers are female, but occasionally, a male sonographer may perform your scan. If you prefer a female sonographer, please contact us in advance.
There are lots of free parking spaces next to the clinic.
You may bring up to 3 guests including children.

Preparing for your Wellbeing Scan

You must attend your routine scans with the NHS.

You can prepare for your gender scan by ensuring that you are properly hydrated in the 24 hours prior to your appointment. Please arrive to your appointment with a full bladder.

This is a 20 minute appointment. Please ensure that you arrive 10 minutes early for your scan in order to complete the necessary paperwork. Failure to do so may result in your appointment time being reduced.

Please bring your pregnancy notes with you. We may not need them, but it is helpful if our qualified Sonographers need to refer to them at any stage during your gender scan.

Finding Hey Baby 4D Hayes

Located in Yeading centre next to the large Tesco Extra, our clinic is easily accessible with free parking directly outside. Our clients come from all over West London, including Yeading, Southall, Northolt, Hillingdon and of course, the town of Hayes.

By Car

Use the postcode UB4 9NS if you have a sat nav. We are based at Unit 8, The Willows, 18 Jolly’s Lane. This is adjacent to the large Tesco Extra in Yeading. The main road leading into the estate is Glencoe Road, which is accessed by the A312 which runs from Hampton to Harrow. There is free parking outside our clinic.

By Bus

By Train

The nearest station is at Hayes & Harlington (zone 5). This can be reached via the Elizabeth Line which runs from East to West London. From the station, catch the E6 bus route North to Yeading Retail Park which takes approximately 15 minutes. It is then a 2-minute walk to the clinic once you get off the bus.
