Hey Baby 4D is a private 4D ultrasound clinic opening soon in Clapham. We pride ourselves on providing a professional service within a warm and friendly environment. Everything we do focuses on customer care and experience. We are currently seeking an experienced and registered sonographer to work with us, performing obstetric and gynae scans for our customers.
Overseas candidates
We hold a visa sponsorship license and so welcome applications from those who require a skilled worker visa. We accept applications from abroad and can offer some practical support, such as help with the logistics of a move abroad, to those moving to the UK.
Job Description – Hey Baby 4D Clapham
Our Sonographer will promote a patient focused approach to care; ensuring all client areas are safe and fit for purpose. You will be required to undertake a range of duties using complex or sensitive information and will act as the patient’s advocate, maintaining their dignity at all time.

We require someone who is customer-focused and puts their heart and care into every interaction with each and every customer. You will need to be sympathetic to the emotions of each customer, understanding the sensitive nature of coming for a pregnancy scan whether it’s their first or twentieth scan, and strive to make each interaction with us positive, supportive, and fun!
We welcome applications from sonographers already in the UK as well as abroad, and are open to conversations about different contracted hours per week from part time to full time. The role will involve working weekends and evenings.
Responsibilities
- Conducting a range of prenatal scans from early pregnancy reassurance and sex confirmation scans, to late pregnancy 4D scans
- Producing high quality ultrasound images and videos
- Keeping accurate records and making high quality referrals where necessary
- Carrying out phlebotomy services for NIPT and SneakPeek blood tests (training offered if not already phlebotomy trained)
- Working with the management team and reception to ensure a premium client experience
- Ensuring a high standard of patient care is maintained at all times
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the clinic at all times
Qualifications
In order to be considered for this position, you must be a qualified and experienced Sonographer with an expert understanding of ultrasound practices and be registered with the HCPC (Health and Care Professionals Council), NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council), GMC (General Medical Council) or BMUS (British Medical Ultrasound Society).
The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a strong patient-centred approach. You must have at least 2 years’ experience working in a similar position, with available references.
