Our dedicated out of hours service is available from 9:00pm to 7:00am, providing timely care to all expectant parents in Sutton, Croydon, South London, and Surrey.

If you have concerns about the health of your pregnancy but are unable to schedule an appointment during regular hours or simply need immediate reassurance, our emergency pregnancy scan is the right option for you. Our clinic is staffed with qualified and experienced sonographers who can promptly address your worries and provide the necessary care.

What to Expect During the Scan

During your 30-minute appointment, our skilled sonographer will perform a non-diagnostic assessment, tailored to your specific symptoms and concerns. The type of scan conducted will vary depending on your gestational age and the nature of your worries. The following aspects will be covered in the scan:

• A 30 minute appointment with our qualified sonographer
• Locate the pregnancy and confirm if single or multiple
• Check baby’s heartbeat
• Basic wellbeing check
• Non-diagnostic assessment of your symptoms and concerns
• Post-consultation to discuss findings and next steps (which may include a referral to your maternity care provider or a local hospital)

Please note: this scan is performed in 2D and does not include gender confirmation or 4D imaging of your baby. It is purely designed to offer vital information about your pregnancy’s wellbeing during emergencies. Bookings are subject to the availability of our sonographer.

Your Wellbeing is Our Priority

If our sonographer identifies any concerns during the scan, rest assured they will discuss their findings with you. In such cases, we may recommend a referral to your maternity care provider or the nearest NHS hospital for further investigation. Your health and that of your baby are paramount, and we will ensure you receive the necessary care promptly.

How to Book an Emergency Pregnancy Scan

To book your appointment, please call us at 0208 669 5799 and our friendly team will guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have.

As this is an out of hours service, appointments can only be made via the telephone. Our telephone line is available out of hours, and we aim to answer every call. If you have been unable to reach us and we have not called you back within 30 minutes, please book our first available appointment via the website.

Upon speaking to one of the team and receiving confirmation of your booking, we will send you an email with a payment link and consent form. Both payment and the form must be completed before your appointment.

Remember, this emergency scan is not a substitute for your routine scans with the NHS. Please continue attending your scheduled appointments for comprehensive maternity care.

In case of severe pain or bleeding, it is crucial to contact your local Early Pregnancy Assessment Service or visit the nearest accident and emergency department immediately.
